The Center for Cultural Resources and Training (CCRT), under the Ministry of Culture, Government of India, has announced its schedule of teacher training programs for the academic year 2025–26. These residential training programs aim to empower school teachers with innovative teaching methods that integrate art, culture, and craft skills in alignment with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.

These programs are designed for primary and secondary teachers across India and will be held at different regional centers of CCRT including Udaipur, Dwarka (New Delhi), Hyderabad, Guwahati, and Damoh.


Important Instructions for Teachers

Before applying for any training, all teachers must carefully follow the below-mentioned instructions:

  1. A teacher is allowed to apply for only one training program in a month. If links for two or more programs are submitted, the application will be considered invalid.
  2. A teacher can attend only one CCRT training program once every three years. If a teacher has attended a training within the last two years, they must not apply this year.
  3. Only teachers who are 52 years old or below will be considered for selection.
  4. Please check the eligible class range before applying. Applications from teachers outside the class range will not be accepted.
  5. If a teacher is rejected due to age or class mismatch, the organizing council will not be responsible.
  6. The final selection of candidates will be made by the organizing committee. Their decision will be final.
  7. School principals or headmasters are requested not to fill out the form on behalf of any teacher. Teachers must apply personally.

Schedule of Training Programs – July 2025

1. Integrating Craft Skills in School Education

Location: Udaipur, Rajasthan
Dates: 1st to 10th July 2025
Eligible Classes: Std 1st to 10th
A practical training that helps teachers incorporate traditional Indian craft techniques into school teaching to make lessons more creative and engaging.

2. Role of Puppetry in Education (Aligned with NEP 2020)

Location: Dwarka, New Delhi
Dates: 3rd to 17th July 2025
Eligible Classes: Std 1st to 5th
This workshop introduces puppetry as a joyful teaching tool for foundational years, encouraging storytelling, imagination, and experiential learning.

3. 501 Orientation Course (Aligned with NEP 2020)

Location: Madhapur, Hyderabad
Dates: 9th to 29th July 2025
Eligible Classes: Std 6th to 12th
Teachers will explore the core principles of NEP 2020, along with methodologies that support student-centric and activity-based teaching.

4. 502 Orientation Course (Aligned with NEP 2020)

Location: Udaipur, Rajasthan
Dates: 16th July to 5th August 2025
Eligible Classes: Std 6th to 12th
A continuation of the 501 course, this session deepens understanding of interdisciplinary teaching, critical thinking, and integrated projects.

5. Integrating Craft Skills in School Education

Location: Damoh, Madhya Pradesh
Dates: 16th to 25th July 2025
Eligible Classes: Std 1st to 10th
Teachers learn to incorporate regional crafts into daily lessons to develop creativity and cultural understanding among students.

6. 503 Orientation Course (Aligned with NEP 2020)

Location: Guwahati, Assam
Dates: 24th July to 13th August 2025
Eligible Classes: Std 6th to 12th
This course highlights the use of local languages, inclusive practices, and regional knowledge systems, especially relevant to Northeast India.

7. Integrating Craft Skills in School Education

Location: Dwarka, New Delhi
Dates: 29th July to 7th August 2025
Eligible Classes: Std 1st to 10th
Focuses on skill-based learning and using crafts as a tool to strengthen classroom activities across various subjects.
